Online Therapy: It’s Your way Forward

Let’s make Life Easier: Less Busy, More Being

Online therapy (particularly since Covid19 when we all became more familiar with communicating via digital technology) has become increasingly popular.

Here are some convincing reasons why:

Effective: A large NHS study shows that online therapy can be just as highly effective as face-to-face counselling, particularly for anxiety and depression. You can have every confidence.

Ease & Flexibility: Grab yourself a cuppa and make yourself comfortable. You choose where – it can be anywhere provided you feel private & safe. It can really enhance your therapeutic experience, particularly for those who may feel very anxious in a more formal setting.

Online counselling

No Travel: Saves you the hassle of battling through traffic; saves Money; saves Time.

Accessible /More choice: Breaks down the barriers for those where geography, transport or mobility issues may prevent them from seeking therapy. You get the therapist of your choice rather than only those in your near locality.

Consistency/Reassurance: For those with busy lives (that’s most of us, right?), online therapy ensures we can have regular sessions. It avoids unnecessary cancellations when those unforeseen situations crop up. A real bonus for busy parents.

I use the Doxy.me platform because it’s so easy to use, is secure (with end-to-end encryption) and is very reliable provided you have a good internet connection. You don’t have to download a thing. All you do is click on the link I’ll send you by email. This will take you through to my waiting room where I will invite you to join me. It’s that simple.

In my experience, people who are initially unsure about having online therapy very quickly become converted when they try it and feel the benefits. You will too.
